Qatar Airways goes Double Daily to Lagos; increases frequency to Khartoum

Qatar Airways will commence double daily flights to Lagos beginning July 1. This is in response to increased demand on the route with the airline deploying its B787 Dreamliner featuring 22 business class seats and 232 economy class seats.

Nigeria is a very important market to us and we will continue to offer more travel options and seamless connectivity to the largest network of destinations across Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and North America,” said Hendrik Du Preez, vice-president of Qatar Airways, Africa.

After just under a year of resuming flights to Lagos and launching to Abuja, following the challenges imposed by the pandemic, it is a testament to the resilience of the African region that we have now increased our frequency to Lagos. We look forward to welcoming passengers on board to enjoy our world-class hospitality and service.” Du Preez remarked

The Doha-based carrier also announced it has increased its service frequency from 4x weekly to 10 weekly for flights to Khartoum, Sudan with the flights currently on sale. Passengers will benefit from the airline’s extensive international network in Asia, Australia, Europe and the US. The Khartoum service is operated by the Boeing 787 Dreamliner as well.

With the airline adding its presence to key hubs, Qatar Airways offers unrivalled connectivity to passengers, making it easy for them to change their travel dates or destination if they need to.
