Max Air, the Nigerian airline, is back in the skies, resuming its flight operations after a temporary suspension imposed by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) due to safety concerns.
Following a thorough audit conducted by the NCAA, Max Air has been given the green light to resume operations. The airline is now serving routes to Abuja, Kano, Katsina, Lagos, Maiduguri, Sokoto, and Yola, reaffirming its commitment to providing accessible air travel options to Nigerians.
Max Air, which boasts a fleet of eleven aircraft, took this opportunity to emphasize its unwavering commitment to safety. Barr. Shehu Wada, an Executive Director of the airline, stressed the paramount importance of safety in their operations. He stated, “What we sell is safety, and we pride ourselves on our sincerity and commitment to safe and secure operations, which we have guarded jealously from the beginning of our operation.”
Wada also highlighted that despite recent challenges, the airline remains focused on delivering safe and efficient flight services to its customers.
Furthermore, Max Air expressed confidence in the thoroughness of the NCAA’s audit of the airline. Wada stated, “We will not allow anybody to drag us back. Our audit is open. We may not be perfect, but safety is what we sell. We have been in operation for over a decade without a single accident because we continue to prioritize safety in everything we do. We don’t joke with the safety of our passengers and crew.”
