IndiGo has partnered with Swissport Kenya for ground services at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, marking the airline’s first foray into Africa. This collaboration between IndiGo and Swissport, a leading provider of airport ground services, sets the stage for seamless operations and exceptional passenger experiences at the Kenyan capital’s airport.

The agreement encompasses a comprehensive range of offerings, including full apron handling and passenger services. These services entail essential aspects like ticketing, check-in, passenger mobility support, and flight security. Notably, the partnership extends to additional services such as aircraft cleaning and the operation of an executive lounge, enhancing the overall travel experience.

Swissport’s role extends beyond passenger services. The company will also manage the handling of belly cargo for IndiGo’s Nairobi operations. This includes the efficient management of general cargo and pharmaceuticals.

Racheal Ndegwa, the Managing Director of Swissport Kenya, expressed her enthusiasm for assisting IndiGo on its inaugural journey into Africa. She emphasized the pivotal role Swissport aims to play in supporting IndiGo’s growth and accomplishments not only in Kenya but also beyond its borders. Ndegwa’s excitement stems from the recognition that established airlines like IndiGo choosing Swissport as their partner signifies the company’s unwavering commitment to providing global service quality, dependability, and customer satisfaction.
