Proflight Zambia Welcomes First Boeing 737, Marking a Milestone in its History

Proflight Zambia, the Zambian airline, is celebrating a significant milestone as it welcomes its first Boeing 737-500, a 126-seat aircraft that represents a major advancement for the company. The introduction of the Boeing 737 enhances Proflight’s ability to serve its expanding customer base with increased comfort, reliability, and efficiency.

The new Boeing 737 features six abreast seating and spacious overhead baggage stowage, providing passengers with a superior travel experience and improved comfort. This addition to the fleet signifies a significant upgrade for Proflight, enabling the airline to better cater to the needs of its valued customers.

The Boeing 737 will become the third jet in Proflight’s fleet since the airline emerged from the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022. With the inclusion of the Boeing 737, Proflight’s fleet now consists of eight aircraft, including three 50-seater Bombardier CRJ-100/200 jets, three 29-seater Jetstream 41 aircraft, and one 18-seater Jetstream 32 aircraft.

Captain Josias Walubita, Proflight’s Director of Flight Operations, expressed his excitement about the arrival of the Boeing 737, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome the Boeing 737 aircraft to our esteemed fleet.
