RwandAir, the flag carrier of Rwanda, has announced plans to open services to Paris Charles de Gaulle in the middle of this year. The flights are scheduled to commence on 27 June, with three weekly flights operating from Kigali. This new route will expand RwandAir’s network to 25 destinations.
According to the airline’s CEO, Yvonne Makolo, “France is a major market for RwandAir,” and the launch of flights to Paris is an exciting development for the airline. RwandAir’s reservations indicate that an Airbus A330-300 will be used for the Paris connection.
The airline currently has both the -300 and -200 variants of the Airbus A330 twinjet in its fleet, which also includes Boeing 737s and CRJ-900 regional aircraft.
