Air Cote d’Ivoire looks to optimize its network, as the airline recently announced selected changes to its network for the Northern Summer 2023 season. The adjustments are mainly focused on changes effective from May to June 2023 according GDS data observed by Aeroroutes.
The airline plans to reduce its weekly service from Abidjan to Accra to three flights a week, down from seven, effective from 1 June 2023. The Dash 8-Q400 aircraft currently operating on the route will be replaced by an A319/320.
Air Cote d’Ivoire will maintain its once-weekly service on the Abidjan-Bissau-Conakry-Abidjan route, with an A319 operating from 1 June 2023.
The Abidjan-Brazzaville-Pointe Noire-Abidjan route will have three weekly A319/320 services until 29 April 2023.
Effective from 2 May 2023, the airline will add a new route from Abidjan to Casablanca, with four weekly A319 services.
The airline will increase its HF720/721 terminator service on the Abidjan-Conakry route from five to seven weekly flights from 1 June 2023. The service will be operated by an A319/Dash8-Q400.
Air Cote d’Ivoire will tentatively reduce its service from Abidjan to Conakry-Monrovia-Abidjan to one weekly flight, down from two, effective from 1 June 2023. The airline will operate an A319 on the route.
The airline plans to replace its current once-weekly Abidjan-Conakry-Bissau-Abidjan routing with a three-weekly service from Abidjan to Dakar-Bissau from 2 June 2023. The airline will operate an A319 on the route.
From 1 May 2023, the airline will consolidate its Abidjan-Niamey service to one daily terminator, with an A319/Dash 8-Q400. The airline will no longer operate in conjunction with Ouagadougou.
Similarly, from 1 May 2023, the airline will consolidate its Abidjan-Ouagadougou service to one daily terminator, with an A319. The airline will no longer operate in conjunction with Niamey.
Air Cote d’Ivoire’s network adjustments for the Northern Summer 2023 season are aimed at optimizing operations, reducing costs, and improving customer experience.
