Namibian airline, Fly Westair has rebranded and will now be called Fly Namibia in line with its position as a leading air transport operator in the country
According to their new website: “FlyNamibia is an independent airline that prides itself in connecting people through local and regional flights whether for business or travel purposes.”
The airline’s new branding and aircraft livery was revealed at a ceremony in Windhoek where it is based
The airline has in the past month stepped up to fill the void left by Air Namibia which ceased operations in February 2021. It was formed in 1967, originally as an aircraft maintenance facility before taking on passenger air travel
The carrier operates a fleet of Embraer, Beechcraft, Piper, and Cessna aircraft
