Trade Air, a Croatian passenger and cargo charter airline conducted a charter flight from Ljubljana, Slovenia to the Tanzanian island of Zanzibar carrying holidaymakers
The charter flight flew via Luxor in Egypt with Trade Air’s Airbus A320 on behalf of Slovenian tour operators who are receiving a lot of winter break customers.
Slovenia does not have any direct flights to Africa, however the majority of traffic arriving in Africa indirectly from Slovenia flies to Cairo, Mauritius, Seychelles and Zanzibar which shows that Africa is largely a leisure destination for Slovenian travellers
