Air Peace is rebuilding its regional network as the impact of the pandemic eases up on the region.
The airline is set to deploy its brand new Embraer E195-E2 jets on its expanding regional network and has announced the resumption of services to Banjul, Gambia and Dakar, Senegal starting July 23
The airline’s route expansion will also be boosted by the return to service of aircraft that have been undergoing maintenance
Stanley Olisa, the airline’s spokesman said in a statement:
“The Dakar and Banjul routes will be operated with our ultramodern Embraer 195-E2 aircraft,”
“We shall resume more routes and increase frequencies to other destinations as we take delivery of more brand new E195-E2s, as well as our other aircraft undergoing maintenance abroad.”
The new routes will be followed closely by the launch of services to Gombe from both Accra and Abuja on August 9
According to Air Peace CEO Allen Onyema, the Airline’s Embraer acquisitions “will enable us to deliver on our ‘no-city-left-behind’ initiative, which is underpinned by our goal to reduce the air transportation burden of Africans”.
Air Peace was the first airline on the continent to operate the new ultra-modern E2 jets and currently has delivered 3 of 13 on firm order. The airline also has purchase rights for a further 17 which would potentially bring its fleet to 30
