Business class is getting better all the time. Flat beds are, of course, now standard, and many airlines go further with suite-style seating and facilities such as on-board bars.
Good news for passengers flying to and from Nairobi and especially those connecting with onwards journeys to the US, Qatar Airways is introducing its signature stylish seats the Qsuite aboard its Airbus A350-1000 which features 46 seats in business class and 281 seats in economy class.
The airline goes double daily to Nairobi from Doha utilising its sustainable and fuel efficient Boeing 787-800 Dreamliner aircraft on one flight and the Airbus A350-1000 on the other.
“Qsuite provides the ultimate customizable travel experience that enables passengers to create an environment that suits their own needs whether it is a mini office in the sky or a private candle lit dinner with a loved one,” said Qatar Airways Africa Vice President Hendrik Du Preez In a statement on Tuesday.
“We look forward to welcoming passengers from Nairobi onboard and beyond to our rapidly expanding network globally,” he said.
Since its launch in 2017, Qatar Airways new business class seat, the QSuite, has attracted rave reviews and has been named as Best Business Class Seat by Skytrax – ‘Oscars’ of the airline industry.
The Qsuite is offered on the A350-1000, some A350-900 and 777-300ER aircraft, Boeing 777-200LR aircraft but not the Airbus A380.
The main highlight of the Qsuite is the quad configuration, a social space that adapts to accommodate a group of four, thanks to two aft and two forward-facing seats. The quad configuration is ideal for both business meetings and friends or families that are looking to share the travel experience.
Dividing panels easily transition the cabin from a social to a private space – perfect for when you want to enjoy a movie. Where the Qsuite really sets itself apart, for business class, is with its closing doors that are fully closable private suites, and not partial doors
