Embraer, has seen an upsurge in its delivery statistics for the third quarter of 2023. With a notable 30% increase in total aircraft deliveries compared to the same period last year, the company’s commercial aviation sector experienced an outstanding 50% surge. The momentum continued in the executive aviation domain, witnessing a commendable 22% rise.

The surge in the third quarter alone resulted in the delivery of 43 jets, emphasizing the resilient performance of the company in meeting market demands. This surge includes a remarkable 15 commercial aircraft—six E175 models and nine E195-E2 models. The E175, a favorite among customers, made a particularly notable appearance with Overland Airways in Nigeria receiving the aircraft, which only flew for its customer on October 7.

In a broader scope, the year 2023 has been immensely promising for Embraer, having already delivered a total of 105 aircraft (39 commercial and 66 business jets). This achievement accounts for a striking 33% increase compared to the same period in the previous year, showcasing the company’s robust growth trajectory.

Embraer’s dominance in the executive aviation realm is underscored by the delivery of 28 jets, comprising 19 light and 9 medium aircraft. Additionally, the company has recorded a substantial increase in its commercial aviation backlog, now reaching $8.6 billion, highlighting the sustained demand for its products.

The E2 family of commercial aircraft has played a pivotal role in Embraer’s success story, with 90 deliveries since its inception in 2018. Specifically, the E195-E2 jets, with 72 deliveries, have been a notable contributor, with prominent orders from airlines like Porter Airlines, KLM Cityhopper, and Azul Linhas Aéreas.

Embraer’s achievement in 2023 has already paralleled the exceptional performance of 2021 in terms of deliveries, indicating the company’s consistent commitment to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
