Fly2Sky Airlines has recently formalized an ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) partnership with United Nigeria Airlines. This operational agreement is scheduled to commence from mid-October and extend until March 31, 2024.
Under the short-term ACMI agreement, Fly2Sky will station one Airbus A320 aircraft, registered LZ-FSA, within Nigeria to support domestic and regional route services, significantly contributeing to the growth of the Nigerian aviation industry.
Aleksandrs Gusevs, the Chief Commercial Officer of Fly2Sky Airlines, expressed his excitement about the broader benefits of this ACMI partnership, stating, “We are excited to bring our Airbus A320 LZ-FSA to the heart of Nigeria and provide seamless winter operations support for United Nigeria Airlines. This collaboration is not only an expansion of our business but also about strengthening the ties with our partners in the African continent.”
Fly2Sky Airlines, a Bulgarian passenger charter and ACMI aircraft operator based in Sofia, has a notable presence in Europe, Asia, CIS, and African markets. Established in December 2016 as Via Airways, the airline embarked on flight operations in February 2017 and later rebranded as Fly2Sky in February 2019. Fly2Sky’s diverse range of charter services includes passenger charters for tour operators and travel agencies, ACMI leases to other airlines, cargo charters, medical evacuation flights, and VIP charters.
