Airlink has marked another milestone in its commitment to providing convenient and reliable air travel options by inaugurating two new routes to Malawi. These routes, connecting Johannesburg to Lilongwe and Blantyre, not only bolster Airlink’s extensive network but also contribute to establishing Malawi as an attractive destination for both business and tourism. With this expansion, Airlink’s network now spans an impressive 46 destinations across the region.
Airlink’s commitment to promoting connectivity and economic growth in the region has been reaffirmed with the introduction of flights to Malawi. The airline believes that by launching services to Lilongwe and Blantyre, it can contribute to Malawi’s appeal as a desirable destination for both tourism and business.

Airlink will initially operate both routes with 37-seat Embraer ERJs, ensuring passenger comfort and efficiency. The flight schedule has been designed to accommodate travelers’ needs, with services departing and arriving on specific days of the week.
