KlasJet, a renowned private and corporate jet charter company, has recently announced the continuation of its ACMI partnership with FlyEgypt, an Egyptian low-cost and charter airline.

Following a successful short-term agreement, the two airlines have signed a year-long contract for wet-leasing services. This partnership involves the leasing of a Boeing aircraft, which will be based at Hurghada International Airport and operate flights to multiple destinations across Europe.

The Deputy Chief Commercial Officer at KlasJet, Augustinas Riskus, expressed his enthusiasm about the extended collaboration, stating, “Earlier this year, we began working with FlyEgypt for a 2-month partnership and are thrilled that the airline was satisfied with our services, which led to an extension of our collaboration for an additional year. We are dedicated to delivering a seamless experience for our clients and their passengers, placing great emphasis on quality and professionalism in all aspects of our operations.”

Ahmed Elhelw, the Vice Chairman and CEO of FlyEgypt, also expressed confidence in the partnership, saying, “We were impressed by the competence shown by the KlasJet team, thus extending this contract was an easy decision. We trust that this will continue to be a successful and mutually beneficial partnership for both companies.”

KlasJet is a member of Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI provider with a fleet of 180 aircraft operating on all continents. Apart from ACMI services, the group offers various aviation solutions, including maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), pilots and crew training, ground handling, and other interconnected services.

Under the extended contract, KlasJet will continue to fly a Boeing 737 on behalf of FlyEgypt. The aircraft will be stationed at Hurghada Airport and operate flights to various destinations in Europe. This ongoing collaboration is expected to strengthen the relationship between the two airlines and contribute to their respective growth in the aviation industry.
