As of March 26, 2023, Turkish Airlines has updated its schedule for flights to Senegal, increasing the number of weekly flights from five to seven flights per week between Istanbul and Dakar.
The route will continue to be nonstop connection between Istanbul and Dakar in both direction.
The aircraft used for this route will be the Airbus A330-200 that can accommodate between 220 and 299 passengers in two Business and Economy classes.
Departures will be scheduled differently depending on the day as observed by Aeoroutes: three of the seven weekly flights will now depart in the afternoon or evening on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, take-offs are scheduled at 1:05 a.m. (arrival at 5:30 a.m.), while on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays they will take place at 2:05 p.m.; return flights will leave Senegal at Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday at 7:00 a.m. (arrival in Turkey at 4:50 p.m.) and Tuesday, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. (arrival the next day at 5:50 a.m.).
The Star Alliance airline is without competition on this route.
