Air Logistics Group has been appointed as the General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) for Astral Aviation in Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States, effective January 1st, 2023.
This partnership will allow Astral Aviation to expand its reach in these regions and increase market share for its perishables service in Europe.
The company will also have additional online capacity for cargo from Europe to Africa. This appointment also marks an end to Astral’s representation by Network Airline Services Group.
The CEO of Astral Aviation, Sanjeev Gadhia, stated that they are looking forward to working with Air Logistics Group, who will be responsible for promoting Astral Aviation in these key markets and representing the company’s intra-African scheduled network of 50 destinations.
“The new commercial partnership with Air Logistics Group will enable Astral Aviation to offer more opportunities to its clients in Kenya, Europe, and the USA, with the objective of increasing market share for its new perishables service in Europe and having the additional online capacity for Astral’s cargoes from Europe into Africa, according to Sanjeev Gadhia, chief executive officer (CEO), Astral Aviation.

Stephen Dawkins, CEO of Air Logistics Group, on his part expressed excitement in connecting their network with Astral Aviation’s and expanding the airline’s presence in the region in the coming years.
