Royal Air Maroc is launching a new service for the transportation of Moroccan fans, following the qualification of the Atlas Lions for the round of 16 of the Football World Cup scheduled for Tuesday, December 6 in Doha.
Passengers will have the opportunity to change the return date originally scheduled for December 2 to the three flights that will be scheduled for December 7, at no cost or penalty.
As for supporters wishing to maintain their return date of December 2, Royal Air Maroc will provide them with five flights departing from Doha-Hamad International airport, out of the eight initially scheduled. The take-off times will be scheduled as follows (in local time).
RAM passengers originally scheduled on flight AT2241 (03:05) will be transferred to flight AT2237 (04:00). Passengers on flight AT2239 (5:00 a.m.) will be transferred to flight AT2349 (10:35 a.m.) and passengers on flight AT 2347 (10:35 p.m.) will be scheduled on flight AT 2345, the take-off of which will be brought forward to 6:35 p.m., said a press release.
For supporters wishing to travel from Morocco to attend the round of 16, Royal Air Maroc will set up “in collaboration with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation and the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports”, a specific flight program for this match between its base in Casablanca-Mohammed VI and Doha . The details of this new device will be “unveiled shortly”.
