Ahead of the FIFA 2022 World Cup football championship to be held in Qatar, a specially-liveried Airbus A320neo operated by the Tunisia national airline Tunisair, was unveiled last week.

The plane (TS-IMX) pays tribute to the men’s national team, nicknamed “the Eagles of Carthage”, and features players with wealth of experience including Youssef Msakni, Ali Maaloul, Wahbi Khazri and Naim Sliti who have played in multiple major tournaments.

Tunisia are the flyweights who just love to knock out African football’s heavyweights. After knocking out the likes of Equatorial Guinea and Mali, Tunisia will begin their campaign at the 2022 World Cup against Denmark ahead of an encounter with Australia, before concluding their campaign in the group stage against France.
