22 years ago after the liquidation of Zambia Airways, National Air Charters a Subsidiary of Zambia National Airline was put up for sale after consideration of bids received, this gave birth to NAC2000 Corporation Limited.
For 22 years NAC2000 has been the leading cargo, ground handling, passenger handling, and freight and forwarding company in Zambia located at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport.

NAC2000 is the official ground handling and appointed cargo agent for Ethiopian Airlines, South Airways, KLM, cargo, Kenya Airways, and many other large volume flights that jet into Zambia on a daily.
The NAC2000 20th Anniversary
There is additional capacity for temperature-controlled and general cargo at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport with the official opening of NAC2000’s new warehouse at the airport. The facility was opened around the same time as the company celebrated its 20th anniversary. NAC2000 now has 2 252sqm of warehouse space comprising offices, cargo storage cages, and a 3000-cubic-meter cold storage facility, as well as a flammable liquids and dangerous goods store and a 144-cubic-meter strong room abutting the cargo apron at KKIA.
National Aviation Services, NAC2000 get airport lounge contract
After completion of the construction of a terminal at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (KKIA), Zambia Airports Corporation Limited (ZACL) awarded a tender to two companies to operate the airport lounge. The companies are National Aviation Services (NAS), which is a leading airport services provider in emerging markets, and NAC2000 Corporation, which is a local ground services company. In a statement issued by NAS, the tender is part of ZACL’s effort to upgrade four international airports in the country. The other international airports are Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe in Ndola, Livingstone’s Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula and Mfuwe in, Mambwe, Eastern Province.

NAC2000 will forever remain in the heart of this boy and his mother, with a guaranteed internship waiting for him and a cash price of 5000 Kwacha handed over to him by the company’s Managing Director Mr. Jonathan Lewis. This was the most emotional moment of the event with everyone filled with ears, this boy went down on his knees with hands raised up to the sky portraying thanks giving to the Almighty God.
