Ethiopian Airlines from August 2022 is expanding service to South America, with the addition of the 5th weekly Addis Ababa – Sao Paulo Guarulhos – Buenos Aires Ezeiza flight. The Planned service increase will take effect between 04AUG22 and 29OCT22.

The service increase will be operated by the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, with a capacity of 270 passengers in two classes. The company will offer 1,350 seats per week in each segment.

The new flight will operate on Thursdays. Additionally, Ethiopian increased its services to both South American cities on July 1st. The company upgraded from three to four weekly flights to and from its hub in Addis Ababa.

Meanwhile, the Star Alliance carrier will in September this year restore additional frequency to Northeast Asia, as the airline restores its 4th weekly flight on the Addis Ababa – Seoul Incheon – Tokyo Narita route.

The Planned service increase is scheduled from September, 2 at the earliest, operated by the 787-8 Dreamliner as well.
