Ethiopian Airlines and SriLankan Airlines from July 2022 plan to launch a reciprocal codeshare partnership, covering service between Addis Ababa and Colombo via Dubai, as well as selected routes beyond the airline’s hub.
The Planned codeshare routes from July 4, are as follows.
Ethiopian Airlines operated by SriLankan Airlines
Colombo – Dubai
Colombo – Jakarta
Colombo – Melbourne
SriLankan Airlines operated by Ethiopian Airlines
Addis Ababa – Cape Town
Addis Ababa – Dubai
Addis Ababa – Johannesburg
Addis Ababa – Sao Paulo Guarulhos
SriLankan Airlines the flag carrier of Sri Lanka and a member of the Oneworld alliance also operates scheduled services to Nairobi, its second destination in East Africa after flying to Seychelles.
