Elix Aviation, the international regional aircraft leasing company, announced on June, 16 the delivery of one new ATR 72-600, MSN 1646, under a sale and leaseback transaction with Gabonese airline Afrijet.
With this addition, Afrijet bolsters it’s operating fleet of 6 turboprops from the European manufacturer ATR with the finance support of Elix Aviation, marking the first of a series of new aircraft.
Founded in 2005 in Libreville, Afrijet became the first airline in the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) zone in 2019 and has developed a regional scheduled network since October 2016.
