Saudi Arabian Logistics (SAL) recently announced an agreement with Astral Aviation that includes ground handling services.
The agreement between SAL and Nairobi-based Astral Aviation was announced on Facebook. The deal includes ground handling services for freight and logistical support for cargo shipments at Saudi Arabia’s main airports, including Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam which will run for three years.
The air cargo handler will also provide ground handling services to EgyptAir after signing a 5 year deal with the Egyptian carrier, to provide cargo ground handling starting March 1st at major Saudi airports including Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Al Qassim, Medina and Abha.
SAL provides premium cargo chain support for multiple airlines operating into and out of Saudi Arabia’s airports. The Company is also broadening its services within airports and will extend its logistics network to increase connectivity between land, sea and air transportation hubs, economic zones, and major population centres, in line with the Vision 2030 objective of transforming the Kingdom into a global logistics hub.
