EgyptAir has confirmed on 9 Feb, plans to launch three times weekly Cairo-Kinshasa service effective 27 March.
Egypt’s flag carrier seeks to widen its operations into the African continent in different fields of air transport.
“EgyptAir has developed ambitious plans to expand its route network to reach new destinations of strategic importance in Africa in order to provide several travel options for its customers on board the latest aircraft types. This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Civil Aviation’s vision to enhance its footprint in Africa in various fields of air transport through Cairo International Airport hub, and in line with the state’s directions and interest in supporting cooperation with African countries,” said Amr Abu El-Enein, chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Holding Company.
Amr Nabil, chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Airlines, said that EgyptAir will offer a 35% discount on its new flight tickets to Kinshasa.
The discount applies to tickets purchased from now until March 27th, 2022 in economy and business classes, provided that the return flights will be until July 1st, 2022.
