Airbus has announced it completed the first flight of the new ACJ TwoTwenty VIP-corporate jet.
The ACJ TwoTwenty launched just over a year ago, completed its first flight from the Mirabel airport on 14 December 2021, and is Airbus’ first business jet, the private version of the A220 airliner, launched in October 2020 and part of Airbus’ new line of “Xtra Large Bizjets.”
The aircraft will be delivered to Dubai-based FIVE Holdings which made the purchase through Comlux Group in Switzerland to be delivered in the coming weeks, outfitted with a VVIP cabin by COMLUX in Indianapolis, USA after the delivery.
The FIVE ACJ TwoTwenty will be finished in the avant garde design and will feature 16 seats, a dining table for eight passengers, a master suite with a king-sized bed and shower, electro-chromatic window shades and full LED lighting, a fully equipped kitchen, non-stop streaming high-speed connectivity, and two ultra-large 55 inches screens, with a flight time of up to 12 hours non-stop with a full crew on board, ideal for private and business jet users.
Comlux has been selected as an exclusive outfitting partner for the first 15 ACJ TwoTwenty aircraft.
The aircraft is a new value proposition to business aviation buyers.
The innovative solution combines intercontinental range enabling the aircraft to fly up to 5,650 nm/10,500 km (over 12 flight hours), unmatched personal space providing comfort for each passenger with 73m2/785 ft2 of floor space.
The ACJ TwoTwenty is the only business jet featuring six wide VIP living areas, of around 12m2/130 ft2 each and is at a price point of a ULR bizjet.
