PILOT Freight appointed UAE Cargo GSA for Astral Aviation

Astral Aviation has appointed Logistics provider Pilot Freight LLC (Pilot) as its cargo GSA for UAE to promote the Astral Online Schedule Network Ex DWC effective 15th October 2021, as announced by the airline’s Twitter handle.

The cargo carrier currently operates flights between its hub in Nairobi and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) in Dubai, flying 2X-weekly utilizing its newest B767 F with a capacity of 40 Tons / 350 CBM.

Astral Aviation will continue transporting freight into and out of Johannesburg’s OR Tambo Airport (JNB), Tanzania’s Julius Nyerere Airport (DAR) and Mwanza Airport (MWZ), Entebbe airport (EBB) in Uganda, Juba International Airport (JUB), Kigali International Airport (KGL), Djibouti’s Ambouli Airport (JIB), Hargeisa Airport (HGA) and Aden Adde International Airport (LLW) in Somalia, Malawi’s Kamuzu Airport (MGQ), Maputo Airport (MPM) and Pemba Airport (POL) in Mozambique, Zanzibar’s Abedi Amani Airport (ZNZ) and Zambia’s Kenneth Kaunda Airport (LUN) through its appointed GSA.
