Swiss carrier Edelweiss resumed its direct flights from Zurich to Cape Town on Monday 4, October for the winter season.
Since October last year, there are no longer any entry restrictions for travellers from Switzerland to South Africa. There is also currently no quarantine obligation for travellers returning from Cape Town.
In addition, Edelweiss also plans on resuming flights to Tanzania on its long-haul route from Zurich.
Edelweiss is a sister carrier of SWISS and a member of the Lufthansa Group.
