EgyptAir plans to launch a new subsidiary airline focused on short-haul flying in April this year according to the Star Alliance member.
The carrier will be called Air Sphinx and will be based in Giza’s Sphinx International Airport (SPX) located on the Western side of Cairo, Egypt.
The new division will begin flights with two Boeing 737-800s.
