Aviadev, Africa’s premier event dedicated to air connectivity has announced its latest edition, which will be in person for the first time since 2019 will take place in Madagascar from 8 to 10 June 2022 under the theme Connect, Collaborate, Change.
The MICE industry has suffered for close to 2 years due to the covid pandemic, however 2021 has offered hope especially after a string of successful in-person events including the Dubai Airshow. 2022 presents an opportunity for a return to something close to normal as the global community scales up on vaccination and streamlines itself around a safer travel environment
In a social media post today, Aviadev founder and CEO, Jon Howell said:
“AviaDev Africa will head to Antananarivo, Madagascar on 8-10 June 2022 for its sixth edition, supported by the Malagasy Ministry of Transportation and Meteorology and RAVINALA AIRPORTS MADAGASCAR, the operators of Antananarivo and Nosy Be Airports. “
“During the 2021 edition, many of the Malagasy landscapes were showcased within AviaDev’s digital event. However, 2022 will offer attendees the opportunity to visit the impressive new Antananarivo international airport terminal and experience Malagasy hospitality in person.”
“AviaDev Africa will be the first aviation event to be held on the treasure island. At a time when the industry looks to recovery, AviaDev will act as a focal point for the community to connect with one another, collaborate through facilitated business-to-business meetings and ultimately change the narrative of the African aviation industry.”
