British Airways announced it is scaling up its London, Heathrow Airport to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo Airport services to two weekly flights, effective 16 August. The airline previously operated once weekly flights on this route.
The bi-weekly flights will operate on Thursdays and Saturdays served by the Boeing 777 aircraft and will remain in place until 30 August 2021.
From 31 August 2021 until 27 September 2021, the United Kingdom flag carrier hopes to further increase its frequencies to daily flights between London and Johannesburg. The airline restarted flights to Johannesburg in May.

London 21:25 > 09:15+1 Johannesburg on Thursdays and Saturdays
Johannesburg 21:15 > 07:20+1 London on Wednesdays and Sundays
