ExecuJet MRO Services Becomes Embraer’s Authorized Service Center in Africa

ExecuJet MRO Services, the leading business aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) organization in Africa, has been appointed as the authorized service center (ASC) for Embraer business jets in the region. This strategic partnership signifies a significant expansion of Embraer’s service network in Africa and reinforces ExecuJet’s position as a trusted and reliable MRO provider.

Embraer, a renowned aircraft manufacturer, recognized the immense growth potential in Africa and selected ExecuJet as its trusted partner for customer support in the region. Frank Stevens, Vice President Embraer MRO Services – Global, Embraer Services & Support, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “We are pleased to partner with ExecuJet for supporting our customers in Africa. The region has great potential to grow, and Embraer Services & Support is prepared to work closely with ExecuJet to offer the best services for our clients.”

ExecuJet, with its headquarters at Lanseria International Airport near Johannesburg, has been operating in Africa for over 30 years and has a well-established reputation for excellence in business aviation MRO services. The company’s long-standing relationship with Embraer and extensive experience in supporting Embraer business jets played a crucial role in securing the authorized service center status.

Vince Goncalves, Regional Vice President Africa at ExecuJet MRO Services, expressed his confidence in the partnership, saying, “I think we were chosen to be the authorized service center because of our good customer reputation and our international footprint. Our other facilities, such as the Middle East and Australia, are already Embraer-approved.”

Under the new agreement, ExecuJet MRO Services Africa is expanding its Embraer MRO capabilities to include the Phenom 100 and 300 series aircraft, which belong to Embraer’s entry-level and light jet family. This enhancement enables local customers and those flying into Africa to benefit from comprehensive support for their Embraer aircraft.

ExecuJet has made significant investments in additional tooling and qualified engineers to ensure the highest level of service for the growing demand of the Embraer Phenom 300 series in Africa. The company’s expanded capabilities and a team of professional technicians will provide enhanced support and maintenance services to customers within the region.
