A recent upgrade to Emirates’ in-flight connectivity means that all Emirates passengers in all travel classes can enjoy some form of free connectivity once they sign up for Emirates Skywards.
The development has enabled an additional 30,000 Economy Class passengers to connect to free Wi-Fi on board each week. Emirates has always been at the forefront of inflight Wi-Fi developments and has to date invested over US$300 million in onboard connectivity.
All Emirates Skywards members of all travel classes can now enjoy some form of free connectivity. Skywards members, whether Blue, Silver, Gold or Platinum tier, traveling in any class, whether Economy, Premium Economy, Business or First Class, will receive free application messaging.
The Chat wifi package is free and provides access to Whatsapp, Messenger and other text message services throughout the flight.
Additionally, first class passengers will enjoy unlimited free internet access if they are Skywards members, allowing them to shop or work online during the flight, just like Silver, Gold and Platinum members.
