Emirates Airlines has announced that it will resume flights with its Airbus A380 aircraft between Dubai (DXB) and eight cities worldwide, as part of its plans to strengthen its global network ahead of the northern summer season. Starting from 26th March, the A380 will serve a total of 48 destinations in 29 countries.

The airline’s Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, said, “Emirates is working hard on several fronts: to bring back operating capacity as quickly as the ecosystem can manage, while also upgrading our fleet and product to ensure our customers always enjoy the best possible experience.” Emirates has refurbished four of its A380 aircraft with new cabin interiors and Premium Economy seats, with more to follow as part of its two-billion-dollar cabin and service enhancement program.

Among the eight cities, two are in Africa. Emirates will resume its A380 flights to Casablanca (CMN) from 15th April, and will as well increase the frequency of its flights to Cairo from 25 to 28 weekly flights by October 29th.

The other six cities where Emirates will reintroduce its A380s include Glasgow (GLA) from 26th March, Beijing (PEK) from 1st May, Shanghai (PVG) from 4th June, Nice (NCE) from 1st June, Birmingham (BHX) from 1st July, and Kuala Lumpur (KUL) and Taipei (TPE) from 1st August.

The airline also plans to operate daily flights to Dar es Salaam from 1st May (where it currently operates five weekly services) and Entebbe from 1st July (where it currently operates six weekly services), further expanding its presence in Africa.

Emirates’ decision to resume A380 flights to these cities is a significant step towards restoring global connectivity and meeting the increasing demand for air travel.

The A380 aircraft’s spacious cabin and amenities make it a popular choice among passengers seeking a premium travel experience, and Emirates’ commitment to enhancing its customer experience with new and upgraded products and services is sure to delight travelers.
