Ethiopian Airlines Group has opened a new aviation training center in Hawassa, Ethiopia. The new campus will serve as the second location for Ethiopian Aviation Academy and will offer pilot training programs.
The facility houses various types of classrooms, three training simulators, three aircraft storage and workshop hangars, dormitories for trainees and instructors, a cafeteria and a sports field for various sports, according to Ethiopian Airlines.
Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO, Mr. Mesfin Tasew, stated that the new training center will allow the academy to accommodate more trainees and contribute to success in customer service and leadership training for companies in the Hawassa and South regions.
The Ethiopian Aviation Academy is recognized as the largest and most modern aviation academy in Africa and provides world-class training in various areas of aviation.
