Air Algérie has resumed its Algiers-Beijing flight route, suspended since March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Beginning February 19, 2023, the Algerian airline will offer two flights a week on the route, operated by Airbus A330-200 aircraft with a capacity of 18 Business class seats, 14 Premium seats, and 219 Economic seats.

The flights will depart Algiers on Thursdays and Sundays at 12:20 p.m. and arrive in Beijing the next day at 7:10 a.m., with return flights leaving China on Mondays and Fridays at 8:50 a.m. and arriving in Algiers at 2:20 p.m.

With no competition on this route, Air Algérie is offering promotional rates of 94,670 DA HT for bookings made before February 28 and trips taken up to October 28, 2023.

Additionally, the airline plans to increase its frequency on the Moscow-Sheremetyevo route from two to four flights per week by the end of March, according to the Algerian ambassador in Moscow.

The flights will provide Russian citizens with access to not just Algeria but also other African countries, said the ambassador.
