Laminaar Aviation Infotech has successfully implemented the ARMS® Flight Operations suite at Kenya Airways, a solution which enables consolidation of all functions of airline operations into one platform, allowing for seamless interactivity and interoperability in real-time.
The ARMS® Flight Operations suite is now live at Kenya Airways, comprising multiple ARMS® modules for flight planning and dispatch, flight following, horizontal situational display and the tablet based electronic flight folder for digitalized and paperless operations.
According to Laminaar Aviation, “The devil is in the details of every successful implementation and this one was no different. From network and infrastructure set-up through software installations, application load testing, user training, certifications and the final acceptance test, everything was accomplished with clockwork precision including six 3rd party integrations, within timelines.”
The implementation was project managed remotely with teams collaborating online between Singapore, Mumbai and Bangalore in India and the client’s project team and end-users stationed at Nairobi, Kenya.
This also follows on from the successful implementation of the ARMS® Flight Planning System at Kenya Airways subsidiary, Jambojet
Laminaar pulled off their first 100% remote implementation at Korea’s JinAir in 2020, repeating the feat at Jambojet and now with Kenyan Airways it’s three in a row.
