Uganda’s national career is looking for suitable candidates to fill key positions at the airline.
After appointing a new board and confirming a substantive CEO this year, the next move is to now place highly qualified professionals across the company’s structure.
Speaking to local media recently on the move to advertise up to 16 top jobs, the airline’s board chairperson Ms Priscilla Mirembe Serukka said:
“We felt, as the board, that they be competitively filled, because a number of them were never competitively filled from the beginning. So, we are trying to get them filled with the best. We have introduced new positions such as chief internal auditor and chief information officer, while we have requested some people to reapply as a way of sanitising the organisation.”
