The services provided by AFI KLM E&M will cover repairs, access to a shared stock of equipment, and the provision of a Master Base Kit (MBK), thus ensuring optimum equipment availability and, by extension, the Airbus operational continuity.
“We are delighted to strengthen our collaboration with AFI KLM E&M, known for its reliability but also for its quality of service and its responsiveness to meet our needs in terms of specific services and equipment support to ensure our operational continuity”, says Ravin Ramroop, Director of Technical Services at Air Mauritius.
“We are proud and enthusiastic to contribute to the return to the air of our long-time partner. The difficulties encountered by the airline during the health crisis have been an opportunity to highlight and consolidate the bonds of solidarity and trust that exist between our two groups”, adds Pierre Teboul, Senior Vice-President Commercial at AFI KLM E&M.
According to the AFI KLM E&M press release, “over many years of cooperation, the two groups have built a close partnership based on mutual trust: a relationship whose value has been fully demonstrated in recent months, Air Mauritius having had to face a period disrupted by the health crisis. During the latter, AFI KLM E&M continued to support the Mauritian airline, and is now supporting the resumption of its operations”.
