Kenya’s national carrier, Kenya Airways this week appointed Travel Point LLC as its General Sales Agent (GSA) for Oman.
Travel Point LLC takes the full responsibility for selling the airlines products in Oman, handling the needs of the travel trade and KQ customers, hence growing KQ’s market share in the Oman market.
The General Sales Agent will represent the interests of KQ in the Oman market including communication with all relevant stakeholders and customers, reservations and ticketing.
“As travel continues to pick up globally, Kenya Airways is committed to providing our customers with increased connectivity options and dedicated accessible service.” said Kenya Airways Chief Commercial and Customer Officer, Julius Thairu.
“The appointment of Travel Point LLC ensures proximity to customers to provide seamless travel advisory and booking within the region.”
The appointment signifies Kenya Airways’ commitment to expand its presence to the international network by allowing easy access to Kenya Airways product & services to the Oman market.
Oman is a key market for Kenya Airways as it is well positioned as a hub to many other countries in the Middle East and Asia therefore provides Kenya Airways an opportunity to connect passengers to other countries like Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Lebanon, Jordan and Pakistan among others through partnership with the national carrier Oman Air and other airlines.
