Etihad’s summer schedule gets a boost with the addition of the island destination of Zanzibar in Tanzania to its route network.
With this addition, Etihad continues to play an important role in reviving Tanzania’s tourism sector.
Beginning June 16, the UAE national airline commenced flights to Zanzibar operating three times weekly onboard the Airbus A320.
“Summer adventurers have plenty to discover with Etihad Airways this year,” said Martin Drew, Senior Vice President of Global Sales.
The airline has now grown its flight network to over 70 destinations increasingly becoming a premium leisure carrier.
