After 2 years of suspension, Airlink is set to resume its services to St Helena as well as connecting Ascension Island.
The scheduled Airlink service will recommence on Saturday, 26 March 2022, with fortnightly flights between Johannesburg and St Helena and the monthly inter-Island service with Ascension Island.
The route will be operated using an Embraer E190 aircraft and airline also plans to add inter-Island flights during periods of peak demand.
The Islands have in the past 2 years only had commercial air access through Titan Airways charter flights between the UK, St Helena and Ascension and these will continue in the interim.
