Kenya’s Freedom Airline Express has taken delivery of a leased ex-Air Canada A320-200 (341) with 2 x CFMI CFM56-5A1 engines from Mojave Jet.
The latest addition was manufactured in 1992 and is the airline’s first A320 assigned with the registration number 5Y-FAH.
The aircraft landed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Wednesday, Jan 12, and was welcomed by a traditional water cannon salute.
The new acquisition has a capacity of up to 146 seats, and a range of 4,442 km designed to operate regional flights.
