Ndola’s Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe Airport is celebrating the arrival of a new carrier, Air Tanzania that added a new route from Dar es salaam’s Julius Nyerere Airport which began on 18, November 2021.
The new service by Air Tanzania is a fifth freedom service as it will also connect DRC’s Lumbumbashi, with the East African carrier now serving 3X-weekly Dar es Salaam – Ndola – Lubumbashi – Dar es Salaam serviced with the A220-300 aircraft.
Air Tanzania is also expected to introduce 2X daily service between Dar es Salaam – Nairobi, Kenya from 26 November 2021 served with the A220-300 aircraft as well.
This will bring added competition and more options on the Dar – Nairobi route.
