EgyptAir has scheduled Cairo – Budapest charter flight on 20th October and 25th October 2021.
The airline will utilise the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft for the 2190 km route.
EgyptAir has previously served regular scheduled flights to Budapest from Cairo, before COVID-19 halted travel. The carrier had also deployed an A220-300 aircraft on this route in 2019.
Booking data obtained via OAG Traffic Analyser shows that Hurghada was EgyptAir’s second-largest transit O&D over Cairo to/from Budapest in 2019. It was behind Luxor but ahead of Sharm El Sheikh.
